Znjan after reconstruction
1. Beach Znjan
The largest city beach Znjan is located in the neighborhood of the same name. Znjan beach consists of several beaches in a row, all of which are gravel beaches. The beaches and the entire plateau offer many beach bars and various services. So on Znjan you can enjoy the first morning coffee, cocktails, rent sunbeds and umbrellas on some of the beaches or party in the daytime atmosphere. Beach bars are diverse, so you can find a beach to your liking depending on the atmosphere you like. The beaches have toilets, showers and some natural shade. If you are going for a long time, it is recommended to bring a parasol or wear SPF protection. On the Znjan plateau, there are also facilities for children, such as a trampoline, toy car rides or an fun park. Right next to the beach is a bus stop for city lines 15 and 7, and there is also a large open parking lot. The city of Split plans to reconstruction of this city beach, after which it will be one of the most beautiful city beaches in Europe. Construction is expected to begin in 2024. when many facilities and the beach itself will be unavailable. Check before arrival.
Bacvice beach
2. Bacvice beach
The most famous Split beach in the world is the sandy beach of Bacvice. The favorite meeting place of the locals is also ideal for a longer stay, given that there is plenty of natural shade in the area. Bacvice Bay is picturesque and will delight you at first sight! Bacvice beach is an excellent choice for swimming with children, since the sea is very shallow in most parts of the beach. If you do not prefer to be located on the sand, there are also concrete sections of the promenade along the beach where you can settle. This city beach is the closest to the city center of Split and is therefore an ideal choice if you are located in the city center. On the beach, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, and there are catering facilities with food and drinks. 3. Beach Ovcice
Bay Ovcice is located right next to Bacvice beach. There are several beautiful small gravel and pebble beaches. In the bay there is a bar, showers and changing cabins. The sea here is particularly clean and azure. Parking is available directly above the bay.
Firule beach

This sandy beach is located under a pine forest in the same part of the city. There is plenty of shade, showers and changing cabins. It is ideal for swimming with children. There are bars in the immediate vicinity.
5. Trstenik Beach
Trstenik pebble and gravel beach is located on the eastern side of the town, and from Znjan to Trstenik you can also take the promenade along the sea. It is also good for swimming with children, but there is no natural shade. You can rent sunbeds and refresh yourself in the nearby bars. The beach has showers and changing cabins.
Kasjuni beach

Located on Marjan, Kasjuni beach is a beautiful gravel beach at the foot of the Marjan forest. It offers a beach bar, sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, and you can also enjoy food. There is natural shade, but more on the side than on the beach itself. If you plan to stay for a long time, it is recommended to bring an umbrella and sun protection. The beach is also good for swimming with children. Kasjuni beach is a great choice for swimming after recreation on Marjan when you need refreshment. Swimming at Kasjuni is an even more beautiful experience when you swim away from the beach and see the view from the sea towards Marjan! You can reach the beach on foot from the city, which can be a challenge in hot weather, or by bus line no. 12. Right next to the Kasjuni beach, more further under the pine forest, is the unofficial Split nudist beach.
Bene beach

Located on Marjan, Bene beach is surrounded by a pine forest and offers plenty of shade. You can get to Bene on foot, by bike or by bus. Bene is also an ideal choice for refreshment after recreation on Marjan, and right next to the beach are a tennis court, a football field, facilities for children and an outdoor park gym. There is a cafe on the beach, and the sea is very clean. In fact, you can jump into the sea anywhere on Marjan if access to the sea is easy!
