Villa Frida

Just had the most excellent of holidays at Mia’s place - Villa Frida, travelling as a family of five. It’s the most incredible location, with superb outside spaces, views of neighbouring islands, coast line and mainland Croatia. The pool is perfect, and we used it for hours every day. The place is even better than the photos - we highly recommend it… so private and peaceful. Mia is a perfect host, with loads of great suggestions - so much to see and do close by - walkable or short drives. Highlights for us, (other than the pool) included the daily walk into town, through the pine forest, right from the rental, into Sumartin which had a great selection of restaurants. One evening we used the traditional outdoor BBQ at Villa Frida and Mia organised for her mother in law to bring us fresh fish from the local market. Thanks again Mia - we look forward to visiting again soon. P

This villa and location are spectacular, and Mia is a lovely, responsive host. We traveled to Sumartin for 6 nights with our two small kids (3 and 6), and the house and pool great for them. We loved that it is just a short .5 mile hike through the beautiful olive groves into town, where there are great restaurants and bars. The house was soo private, secluded, and stunning. The a/c worked great through a Croatian heat wave, and it was nice to have modern amenities like a dishwasher and washing machine. Absolutely wonderful, cannot recommend it enough and hope we will get to go back someday!

The inside space was cozy, but the out door spaces made it very comfortable. The children spent hours in the pool and their swimming skills improved dramatically. The fresh water shower to rinse off with was perfect. The wood fired brick oven was used to cook a fabulous dinner. The close by beach, Punitica, was a magical place to walk to in the morning for a dip in the crystal clear water. We loved our time at Villa Frida. We are so happy that we purchased the Villa Frida olive oil and the local white wine from the neighbor. They were delicious.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit an diesem traumhaften Ort! Die Unterkunft hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen – sie sieht in echt sogar noch schöner aus als auf den Bildern. Das Haus ist stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, es war alles da, was man braucht und mehr. Der Ausblick war atemberaubend, einfach magisch! Ich konnte kaum wegschauen und wollte am liebsten gar nicht abreisen. Den Salzwasserpool haben wir geliebt. Meist menschenleerer Strand ist ganz in der Nähe zu Fuß erreichbar. Und Mia – ich hatte noch nie so eine herzliche, liebevolle Gastgeberin. Sie war jederzeit für uns da, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und hat uns sogar in der Stadt gesucht die Dinge, die wir brauchten. Man spürt, wie viel ihr an ihren Gästen liegt. Es ist schwer in Worte zu fassen, wie schön unser Urlaub hier war. Hoffentlich sehen wir uns wieder! DANKE❤️

Absolutely out of this world. Quiet in early September on the island with great weather, we loved the infinity pool, pizza oven, large wood fire oven, outdoor dining area… we used all the amenities to their maximum and it was a perfect stay. Such a magical island. Well done Mia and thank you for your incredible hospitality.
